Move quickly without taking shortcuts away from text fields or the editor.
Global shortcuts
Shortcuts work when focus is not in a control that needs the same key.

Writing shortcuts
The Manuscript adds shortcuts for the assistant and chapters.

Chapter shortcuts work only outside inputs and the editor. Inside a chapter, Command/Control-Left and Command/Control-Right keep their usual line-start and line-end behaviour.
Composer and editor keys
Enter sends a chat message; Shift-Enter adds a line. In the editor, / opens block choices. Arrow keys move through menus, Enter or Tab chooses, and Escape closes. Ordinary Tab order, visible focus, and Escape for dialogs and menus remain available where the interface offers them.
Reading and display
Use the appearance menu for light, dark, or system theme. Browser zoom and screen-reader landmarks remain available. Navigation and editing regions are labelled, status changes are announced, and animations respect reduced-motion preferences where motion exists.
