Start

  1. Start with Chapbook Create an account, bring your paragraph with you, and learn the shortest path from idea to something you can read.
  2. Find and manage your books The Library shows what needs attention and the sidebar keeps every book task close.
  3. Start a new book Describe the reader, promise, and voice, or bring your own draft; choose a useful shape; attach sources now or later.

Plan

  1. Plan with the assistant Use one continuing conversation to sharpen the brief, shape the outline, and decide when writing begins.

Write

  1. Write and edit the manuscript Edit directly on the page, move between chapters, and ask the assistant for changes without losing your place.
  2. Review suggestions and restore revisions Every assistant edit waits for your decision, and earlier chapter versions remain available.
  3. Add notes and research Give the assistant material it may quote and cite without mixing it into your manuscript.

Design

  1. Choose the look and cover Change the pages, EPUB, and cover without changing a word of the manuscript.

Finish

  1. Finish, export, and launch elsewhere Run the final checks, download your files, and prepare copy, emails, posts, and carousels for the places where you will release the book.

Share

  1. Publish a book page on Chapbook Give the book a public page, collect reader sign-ups, and decide exactly what appears there.
  2. Share a private reading link Let selected people read the live manuscript without an account, then stop access whenever you choose.

Audience

  1. Manage readers Find people who signed up on your public book pages, send them to Kit, Mailchimp, Beehiiv, MailerLite or a webhook, add your own context, and export the list.

Account

  1. Set your author profile Choose what new books inherit: cover name, public identity, voice, and brand look.
  2. Understand plans and Book Credits See what is left, what an action costs, and what changes when a subscription ends.
